Calvi
Calvi, the old Genoese stronghold, lies on the rugged north-west coast of the island. Its historic Citadel, situated on a rocky promontory, dominates the yachting Marina and the Promenade of Calvi, with bars and restaurants that overlook the bay with the backdrop of mountains.
Although Calvi’s main attractions are the sea and natural scenery, there is no lack of cultural activity and entertainment.
During the day, there are many organized excursions by boat and a wide range of sports and outdoor activities available.
